Job Overview

The AH Warren Trust is looking for workers to join the long-term cleaning team at Kingshay Barton, our 5* luxury holiday let situated in Misterton, just outside of Crewkerne.

With the existing team happily working under a new structure, previous applicants with experience in cleaning are encouraged to apply.

Teamwork is the name of the game at Kingshay. With a history of exceptional guest reviews and repeat custom, the property is self-catering and sleeps up to 25 guests.

Changeovers require a thorough clean throughout all areas and, although the formal grounds are maintained by an independent gardening team, external cleaning should be expected by all team members – including (but not limited to) the BBQs, windows, bins, lighting, etc…

Requirements:

• Reliable with a focus on delivering cleanliness to the highest of standards in a time restricted environment – 4.5 hours.
• Previous experience within a similar role.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to ensure all cleaning is completed.
• To uphold existing practices set out by Management to complete the changeover, including all relevant H&S within the workplace and COSHH handling.

Additional Information:

• Work is offered on a casual basis and as requested; we are open for business all year round including Bank Holidays.
• Self-catering accommodation changeover days are Mondays and/or Fridays, with cleaning taking place from 10:15am through to 2:45pm.
• Week-Long Stay Bonus available at the hourly base rate (for a max period of 2.25 hours) for weeks where there are 0-1 changeovers available to work – for regular cleaners and only subject to passing a probation period, at Managements’ discretion.
• Salary – £13.47 Casual Contract Worker on Payroll, per hour.
• Casual Contract Workers accrue holiday with this additional accruement being paid on submissions of weekly time sheets.
• Salary – £16.85 Self-Employed per hour (invoices to be submitted)
• Self-Employed Workers are required to provide proof of Public Liability Insurance.
• Due to the rural location, you must have your own transport or the means to travel to site. Parking is available at the property.
• All cleaning products and equipment are provided.
• Uniforms (t-shirts with the Kingshay Barton Logo) provided.
