Passing knowledge on to the next generation
We are passionate about sharing our knowledge of the countryside and inspiring the next generation of farmers and rural entrepreneurs.
We actively work to pass on a range of rural skills to future generations. We do this through our relationships with schools and colleges such as Kingston Maurward, Yeovil and Cannington Colleges, offering placement opportunities and a range of apprenticeships – from agriculture to construction and accountancy to administration.
We hold farm tours for interested groups and also volunteer with Discover Farming at events such as the Melplash Show to help educate children about food and farming.
