Job Overview

We are a large, diversified rural business in South Somerset with Organic farming at our core, milking 900 cows across 3 herds.

We are seeking an experienced Tractor Driver to join us working across our organic estate as part of our agricultural operations. All machinery is modern and kept up to date.

Job Duties Include:

• Hedge trimming
• Silage making
• Grassland maintenance
• Slurry tanking
• Bale hauling and stacking
• Cleaning out sheds
• Some relief feeding
• Livestock haulage
• Dung spreading
• Routine basic inspection and maintenance of equipment used
• Ensuring Health & Safety requirements are met and comply with our high standards

Experience and Skills required:

• Full Valid UK driving licence
• Competent driving tractors and operating other agricultural machinery
• Prior general farming work advantageous
• Be flexible and self-motivated
• Be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
